Senior Business Analyst (7 month contract)

Our banking client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 7-month contract. They require an experienced candidate with 3-5 years of Mobile and Digital experience as a non-negotiable criterion.

Description:

1. Understanding stakeholder perspectives to produce holistic and systems-oriented analysis.
2. Experience in Digital and Mobile-related projects.
3. Basic understanding of User Experience (UX) principles to ensure digital and mobile solutions are user-friendly and meet end-user needs.
4. Proficiency with Jira and Confluence tools.
5. Conduct detailed business analysis, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business and stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders, including scrum masters, product owners, and project managers, to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and functional specifications.
7. Experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria using GHERKIN syntax.
8. Knowledge of DevOps principles.
9. Provide expert advice on business analysis best practices to business units.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Formal qualification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).
• Over 5+ years of solid experience in business analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Extensive experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software, including Jira and Confluence.
