Responsibilities
- Compile Weekly Statistics to Measure Performance.
- Implement and/or Discuss Measures to Improve Volumes and/or Profitability.
- Report Regularly (Weekly & Monthly) on Area Sales Performance.
- Plan Customer Visits to Ensure Regular Contact and Communication are Maintained through Business Reviews.
- Monitor & Report Back on Competitor Activities.
- Manage Customer Pricing and RTM.
- Build & Maintain Sound Business Relationships with All Parties through Regular Interaction.
- Communicate Effectively & Efficiently with Customers at Various Levels as well as All Stakeholders.
- Provide Technical Support to Customers.
- Communicate Regularly with Warehouse Staff to Ensure Proper & Prompt Processing of Customer Claims.
- Assist Customers with Development of Products with the View to Actively Promote the Huletts Brand (Including Cape Sweetener Products).
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Qualities
- Matric & B TECH in Food Technology OR BSC Food Science Degree.
- At least 3 Years’ Experience in Sales Preferably in FMCG Environment. With a Valid Code 8 Driver’s Licence.
- Sales Focused & Building Customer Relationships with Attention to Detail.
- Must have High Ethical Values, be Professional & Matured.
- Required to be Able to Work Outside the Normal Working Hours.
- A Team Player with a Strong, Confident and Assertive Personality.
- Ability to take Initiative.
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation Capabilities.
- Computer Literate & Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & SAP (Advantageous).
