Senior Bookkeepers x 2 (Knysna and Plettenberg Bay)
Our client is seeking two highly skilled Senior Bookkeepers (1 x Knysna Branch and 1 x Plettenberg Bay Branch) to join their professional and dynamic team. These are full-time positions with excellent opportunities for growth and skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and industries, handling bookkeeping tasks up to trial balance level.
2. Prepare and submit VAT returns, EMP201 and EMP501 submissions.
3. Process payroll and maintain WCA and UIF compliance.
4. Maintain an up-to-date asset register.
5. Utilize various accounting software platforms including Xero, Pastel, Sage Online, QuickBooks Online, Zoho, Pastel Payroll, and Excel.
6. Handle multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
7. Communicate professionally with clients, providing clear and timely updates.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Relevant certifications or diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance.
2. Previous experience in a professional services firm is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
2. Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
3. Experience with various accounting software (Xero, Pastel, Sage, etc.).
4. Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously.
5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
6. Strong time management skills in a professional services environment.
7. Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans (verbal and written).

Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 (depending on qualification and experience).
