HR Options is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper for an established insurance company in Cape Town. The role focuses on capturing cashbook transactions, processing payments, and reconciling supplier accounts, with responsibilities to assist the Accountant and prepare management information.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12 with Accounting, a bookkeeping qualification, and at least 5 years’ experience. Proficiency in Xero and MS Office is advantageous.

Formación

• Grade 12 with Accounting and a bookkeeping/accounting qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.

Responsabilidades

• Capture cashbook transactions, process payments and reconcile supplier accounts.
• Prepare journals and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Assist with monthly reports and support the Accountant in the Finance department.
• Contribute to the Finance team by completing assigned work accurately and on time.
