Qualifications

• 8–10 years’ accounting experience, with at least 4+ in a senior role.
• Proven expertise in VAT, audit preparation, and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations.
• Lead migration from Sage One to Sage Evolution.
• Handle VAT submissions and month-end/year-end close.
• Prepare management accounts and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee debtors/creditors and maintain cash flow.
• Produce cost center reports and support budgeting.

We are a growing media business focused on delivering impactful brand communication. We’re looking to strengthen our operations by bringing in a finance lead who can drive accuracy, structure, and strategic support.

Who Are We Looking For

A hands-on senior bookkeeper or financial controller with:

• Solid accounting background
• Strong Sage (One & Evolution) experience
• Leadership skills to manage a small team
• Media, advertising, or creative industry experience (preferred)

What Will You Do

• Manage day-to-day finance operations
• Lead Sage One to Sage Evolution migration
• Handle VAT submissions, month-end & year-end close
• Prepare management accounts and liaise with auditors
• Oversee debtors/creditors and maintain cash flow
• Produce cost centre reports and support budgeting

What Do You Need

• BCom/BAcc or equivalent
