Job summary

Qualifications

  • 10 years’ working experience in Senior Bookkeeping.
  • Proven experience with SAGE Evolution preferred.
  • Experience with Multinational and Intercompany Transactions an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate financial records up to Balance Sheet.
  • Oversee inventory management, control, processing, and control.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank and payment transactions.

Job description

Senior Bookkeeper position available in Germiston.

Our Technologies & Manufacturing Client in Germiston Johannesburg is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with 10 years solid booking experience for a medium to large company.

You also need exceptional skills with inventory control.

Salary up to R640 000 per annum (includes medical aid and pension).

Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Relevant Diploma/ Certificate Bookkeeping/ Finance or other
  • 10 years’ working experience in Senior Bookkeeping
  • Proven experience with SAGE Evolution Accounting Package – an advantage
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Tenacity, flexibility and ability to meet strict and tight deadlines essential
  • Experience working within a – Multinational and Intercompany Transactions- an advantage
  • Foreign Exchange and Rate of Exchange transactions – an advantage
  • Must have own transport

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate financial records up to Balance Sheet
  • Bookkeeping to Audit Phase
  • Inventory management, control, processing and Control
  • Plan and oversee stock takes
  • Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation and distribution.
  • General ledger and lead sheet maintenance
  • Account Receivables & Customer ledger processing and reconciliations
  • Account Payables & Supplier ledger processing and reconciliations
  • Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations.
  • Foreign Exchange Transactions
  • Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations
  • Process monthly journals and adjustments
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals and reconciliations
