Senior Bookkeeper - Remote (Durban or Pietermaritzburg)

An exciting remote opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with experience managing UK-based accounting portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of finance functions to support clients in meeting their regulatory and statutory obligations
• Provide bookkeeping services on behalf of clients or guide and train them to manage their own records
• Duties also include bookkeeping reviews, VAT return preparation and submission, and the preparation of management and year-end accounts

Requirements

• Relevant Degree in Accounting and completed ACCA / SAIPA articles
• Experience on Sage, Dext, QuickBooks and apps which include FreeAgent; Hubdoc is advantageous
• Excellent mathematical and numeracy skills and strong attention to detail
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Xero
