Senior Bookkeeper

The ideal incumbent will be responsible for keeping and interpreting the financial records of the company, as well as a wide range of finance-related tasks.

Qualifications/Experience:

1. Tertiary qualification in Accounting / Finance (B Com / B Tech Degree with Finance / Accounting subjects)
2. Fully computer literate in MS Office Suite.
3. Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience post qualifications in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.
4. Experience with financial monthly processes.
5. Proven experience of full financial accounting function to trial balance.
6. Ability to handle pressure, take ownership and accountability.
7. Strong logical thinking and analytical ability with excellent numerical skills.
8. The ability to be accurate and pay attention to detail.
9. Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
10. A desire to travel for work, should the need arise.
