Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related life science field.
• Minimum 5 years post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery or biochemical research.
• Extensive experience with protein purification, enzyme kinetics, and assay development.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team in Centurion, Gauteng.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical research sector, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Biochemist to join their state-of-the-art laboratories in Centurion, Gauteng. This critical role involves the in-depth study of biochemical processes and the development of novel drug candidates. The Senior Biochemist will be responsible for designing and executing complex experiments, analyzing results, and contributing to the overall research strategy. You will be part of a highly collaborative team focused on translating scientific knowledge into tangible health solutions. This position requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of biochemical principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, perform, and optimize biochemical assays to evaluate drug targets and compounds.

Requirements
