Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced BIM specialist to model and coordinate complex building projects using Revit/OpenBuildings. You will ensure model quality, coordinate across disciplines, and support project delivery with strong documentation and BEP adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in Revit modelling within a BIM environment, a Civil/Structural engineering background, and excellent communication skills. Hybrid work options and global project exposure offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/BIM degree or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and BIM 360; Navisworks for coordination.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and BEP guidelines.
• Experience with BIM content creation and 3D modelling of concrete and steelwork.

Responsibilities

• Model and produce drawings in Revit or OpenBuildings with limited supervision.
• Coordinate BIM models and deliverables to meet client requirements and BEP.
• Verify accuracy of own work before senior review.
• Support team in BIM360 project management and coordination workflows.
• Apply innovative solutions and document methodologies to support solutions.
• Manage inbound/outbound model and drawing information.
• Keep up-to-date with software and techniques to boost productivity.
