Job Description
BIM Execution Responsibilities:
- Lead BIM execution for all Mechanical Building Services disciplines including HVAC, Wet Services, Process, and Fire Protection.
- Proficient in Revit modeling for Mechanical Building Services.
- Skilled in NavisWorks environment for clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination (Architecture, Structural, Electrical, etc.).
- Assist in BIM upskilling of team members.
- Support BIM Manager with content creation and standard enforcement.
- Perform Level 3 QA/QC checks on discipline models.
- Work independently with efficient time management and scheduling.
- Interpret and understand construction documents.
- Knowledge of design parameters related to discipline-specific requirements.
- Follow AECOM standard modeling practices and procedures.
- Maintain project-specific filing systems and adhere to BIM Execution Plan standards.
- Develop BIM content based on modeling standards.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of discipline models, taking ownership of work.
- Develop components of the Information Model for specific tasks.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with other disciplines for coordination and model development.
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Relevant built environment qualification.
- Minimum 4 years experience in Mechanical Building Services with Revit, plus 3 years in a BIM environment.
- Revit Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of integrated architectural and engineering practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and consistent in work.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a positive attitude and self-starter mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
