Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior BIM Manager to lead a fully remote BIM strategy for a global construction client. The role focuses on developing BIM standards, workflows, and training programs, while coordinating federated models and ensuring best practices across projects worldwide.

You will deliver expert technical support, drive BIM adoption, and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of BIM implementation/management experience in construction.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and related platforms.
• Strong understanding of full project lifecycle and BIM integration at each stage.
• Experience developing and enforcing BIM standards and guidelines.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead virtual teams.
• Familiarity with VR/AR, IoT, drones is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
• Lead BIM execution across diverse construction projects, ensuring compliance with requirements and best practices.
• Manage federated BIM models, clash detection, and resolution remotely.
• Provide expert technical support and training to project teams on BIM software/processes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients for BIM integration and communication.
• Oversee BIM content libraries and databases.
• Stay current with BIM tech, software, and industry trends.
• Develop and implement quality control for BIM deliverables.
• Assist in BIM proposals and support business development efforts.
• Ensure BIM is used for planning, visualization, cost estimation, and facility management.
• Manage BIM software licenses and infrastructure.
• Advocate BIM adoption across the organization.
