Job summary

Air Chefs is seeking an experienced BI Engineer to design and build scalable data models and reporting layers for a leading fintech platform. You will own BI dashboard development and collaborate with Data Engineering on pipelines and data quality.

You will translate complex business needs into actionable data products, support A/B testing frameworks, and use SQL, dbt, Python or R to drive insights. Based in Cape Town or remote, you’ll join a diverse global team and enjoy a competitive salary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in BI/Analytics engineering (fintech/SaaS preferred).
• Strong SQL, dbt and data modeling expertise.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Experience supporting A/B testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python or R for deeper analysis.
