Placements24 is seeking a Senior BI Developer to join our analytics team in Paarl. The role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights through data warehouses, ETL, and robust BI solutions.

You will design data models, build dashboards with Power BI/Tableau/QlikView, and collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and performance. This is a hands-on role in a wine-region setting with opportunities to work on cutting-edge analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in BI development and data warehousing.
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience with ETL tools and methodologies.
• Strong data modeling skills (Star/Snowflake).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
