Job Summary: Join metal parts together using heat and pressure, ensuring high-quality welds that meet safety and industry standards.

Our client in the Renewable Industry sector is seeking a talented and experienced WELDER.

Salary Range:

1. Junior Welder (0-1 year of experience): R8,000 - R12,000 per month.
2. Experienced Welder (1-3 years of experience): R12,000 - R18,000 per month.
3. Senior Welder (3+ years of experience): R18,000 - R25,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding: Weld metal parts together using various welding processes, such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW).
2. Material Preparation: Prepare metal parts for welding, including cleaning, cutting, and shaping.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment, including cleaning and replacing consumables.
4. Quality Control: Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
5. Safety Procedures: Follow safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Relevant technical qualification, such as a National Certificate in Welding.
2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a welder.
3. Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding processes, safety procedures, and metallurgy.
4. Skills: Proficient in using welding equipment, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) machines.
5. Physical Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
6. Travel: Must be in possession of a Valid Passport and be prepared to travel to Germany for further training in line with the project.

Working Conditions: Manufacturing plant, fabrication shop, or construction site.

Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and exposure to heat, noise, and dust.

Safety Equipment: Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmet, gloves, and safety glasses.
