You will ensure products are fresh for breakfast, buffets and banquets, monitor temperatures, follow safety and allergen procedures, and help optimise waste while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' baking experience within hotel, bakery or reputable restaurant.
• Relevant baking, culinary or pastry qualification advantageous.
• Experience producing breads, rolls and other baked goods.
• Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proofing and baking.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients accurately and maintain quality.
• Experience planning production for busy service periods.
• Operate bakery equipment safely (mixers, ovens, proofers).
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management and stock rotation.
• Attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a professional kitchen team.
• Availability for early-morning shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• South African ID or valid work authorisation.
