Placements24 is seeking a motivated Senior Backend Developer to join its IT department in Rustenburg. You will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

You will collaborate with front-end developers and system administrators to deliver scalable solutions. The role requires 5+ years of backend experience and proficiency in Python/Java/C#/Go, with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis and cloud exposure

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or Go.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Familiar with RESTful API design and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
