Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (C# & SQL) to design and build enterprise-grade backend platforms, including a business rules engine and robust integrations.

You will lead API design, data models, and ensure transactional integrity while collaborating with DevOps and QA teams. Immediate start, Johannesburg on-site, initial 6-month contract with extension opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant cloud or software engineering certifications are advantageous.
• AWS certifications will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the business rules engine, including configuration storage and versioning.
• Develop backend for rules engine administration with auditing and approval workflows.
• Create document processing and data models for multiple instruction types.
• Build integrations with external systems and ensure transactional consistency.
