Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Systems Test Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for complex aviation systems and components, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance across cutting-edge aerospace solutions.

You will lead test automation, analyze results, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare flight-ready systems in a home-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years in systems testing with aviation/aerospace focus.
• Proven experience designing and executing test plans for complex electronic and software systems.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (Python, LabVIEW, TestStand).
• Strong understanding of avionics systems, ARINC 429, and signal processing.
• Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with aviation industry testing standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and remote-team collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage testing projects independently and meet deadlines.
