Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Aviation Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is fully remote, collaborating with software developers, hardware engineers and test pilots from a home office.

You will design, develop, test complex aviation systems, document specifications and test plans, and stay abreast of industry trends to propose innovative solutions. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years in aviation systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering.
Minimum 4 years of aviation systems engineering experience.
Strong understanding of aerospace systems, avionics and embedded software.
Proficiency with systems engineering tools and simulation software.
Experience with DO-178C or similar aviation software standards is highly desirable.
Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test complex aviation systems with safety and performance in mind.

Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause identification.
