Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Aviation Systems Engineer to join a globally distributed team in a fully remote capacity. You will contribute to the design, development, and integration of complex avionics systems for next‑generation aircraft, solving challenging technical problems to ensure safety, efficiency, and performance.

You will lead system architecture, analysis, simulations, and verification activities, collaborating with suppliers and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Minimum 8 years in aviation systems engineering with avionics focus.
• Proven experience with system design, integration, and V&V.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Strong knowledge of aviation standards (DO-178C/DO-254).
• Excellent communication and ability to work remotely.

• Lead the system architecture design and integration of avionics hardware and software components.
• Perform detailed analysis, simulations, and testing to validate system performance and safety requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
