Placements24 is seeking an Aviation Compliance Specialist for our client, a growing airline, based in George, Western Cape. You will monitor regulations, develop compliance programs, and conduct internal audits to safeguard operations.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation compliance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to liaise with SACAA, EASA, and other authorities. Excellence in documentation and training delivery is essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
• Thorough knowledge of South African aviation regulations and international aviation standards.
• Experience with internal auditing and regulatory inspections.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear policies and reports.
• Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and interpret aviation regulations from SACAA, EASA, FAA.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments of operational procedures and documentation.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections, providing necessary information and documentation.
• Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Keep abreast of changes in aviation legislation and advise the company accordingly.
• Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities and regulatory approvals.
• Assist in the development and delivery of compliance training to relevant personnel.
• Support the safety department in maintaining the Safety Management System (SMS).
