Key Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and validate system-level requirements and architectures for automotive applications.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, chassis, electrical architecture, and ADAS.
• Experience with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., MBSE, SysML, DOORS).
• Proficiency in system simulation and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid model from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA , with regular on-site attendance required.
• Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) is a significant advantage.
