Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in automotive mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools (CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, NX) and CAE tools (ANSYS Workbench, Abaqus, Nastran).
• Strong understanding of powertrain, chassis, suspension, steering, and braking.
• Hybrid work environment experience and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automotive mechanical systems for performance and manufacturability.
• Use CAD software for 3D modeling, part design, and assembly creation.
• Perform CAE analyses for structural, thermal, and vibration assessments.
• Develop and execute validation plans including durability and testing.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot mechanical design issues through development and production.
• Prepare detailed design specs, analyses, and test reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve engineering processes.
• Stay current with automotive technologies and materials.
• Manage project timelines and resources for on-time delivery.
