You will lead CAD modeling, perform FEA analyses, collaborate with R&D, manufacturing and testing teams, and mentor junior engineers while upholding industry standards and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive automotive mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE and FEA tools for structural, thermal, and vibration analysis.
• Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R and design validation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design process for automotive components from concept to production release.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Perform stress, thermal, and fatigue analyses to optimize designs.
• Develop and execute test plans; analyze results and implement refinements.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing and testing to ensure cost-effective production and top quality.
