An established automotive workshop in Paarl, Western Cape seeks a Senior Automotive Electrician & Diagnostics Expert. You will diagnose and repair complex electrical and electronic systems across a wide range of vehicles, lead diagnostics, mentor junior technicians, and uphold high quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires deep knowledge of automotive circuitry, power distribution, charging systems, engine management electronics, and diagnostic tools.

• Extensive hands-on experience as an Automotive Electrician or Diagnostic Technician.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical theory, circuits, and components.
• Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes and multimeters.

• Diagnose and repair all types of automotive electrical system faults, including wiring, circuits, sensors, and actuators.
• Perform expert diagnostics on ECMs, TCMs and other ECUs.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, scan tools and specialized electrical testing apparatus.

• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, scan tools, and specialized electrical testing apparatus.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical service bulletins to accurately troubleshoot issues.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair vehicle lighting systems, comfort systems, and accessory electronics.
• Perform electrical diagnostics on vehicle starting and charging systems.
• Ensure all electrical repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records, documenting all diagnostic findings and repairs.
