Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for complex enterprise applications. You will also execute manual tests when necessary and work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that all applications are tested thoroughly and meet required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software testing experience, strong automation tool knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
Experience testing complex enterprise applications and APIs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for complex enterprise applications.
Execute manual tests when necessary.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough testing and quality standards.
Participate in code reviews and ensure code changes are properly tested.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure full system integration and operation.
Continuously improve testing processes by identifying automation opportunities and developing new tools and scripts.
