Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our Johannesburg based team. We follow a hybrid way of work, but we can also consider people outside of Johannesburg.

Qualifications

• Senior (7+ years of experience)
• Advanced JAVA experience
• Spring Boot
• Selenium
• Database Management : SQL basics
• Front-end Application Navigation
• API Testing (using tools like REST, Postman and SOAPUI)
• API Documentation (including Swagger docs)
• Monitoring Tools (SPlunk, Grafana)
• CI / CD Pipelines (Jenkins / Bamboo)
• Micro Focus ALM Octane usage
• Git and Bitbucket knowledge
• IntelliJ (IDE) Usage
• Understanding of Script Datasheets
• Data Driven Framework
• Knowledge of OCEP Services
• Data Preparation and understanding
• Agile Methodology
• Issue Resolution
• Stakeholder Communication

Automation Scripting

• Quickly adapt to prescribed standards and usage of the internal Framework.
• Familiarize yourself with all defined interaction points in the framework, namely (Legacy Application, REST, API, Selenium, SOAP, IMS, OCEP).
• Design robust, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts covering various aspects of the System Under Test.
• Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy scripts.
