Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Java for automation scripting.
• Experience with Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner or Appium.
• Familiar with Jenkins, Bamboo or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman/SoapUI/REST Assured).
• Version control using Git, SVN or Mercurial.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail in automation scripts and test cases.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of QA principles and security testing concepts.
• Able to analyze data from tests to improve automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks and tools to boost software delivery efficiency.
• Create detailed specifications, architecture diagrams, and documentation for automation projects.
• Stay updated with latest automation tech and integrate them into systems.
• Develop automated test scripts and scenarios to ensure quality and performance.
• Test automation solutions thoroughly and resolve issues for robustness.
• Collaborate with QA to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze processes to identify opportunities for further automation.
• Implement processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Monitor performance of automated processes and enhance as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
