Position Overview

As an External Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the UK. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing audits, interacting with clients to understand their business operations, and providing valuable insights that contribute to their success. You will also mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage the execution of audit engagements across various industries.
2. Ensure effective planning, efficient execution, and timely completion of engagements.
3. Develop strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor.
4. Analyze financial statements, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate with partners and managers to develop audit strategies tailored to client needs.
6. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with 1-2 years post-article experience in external auditing within the private sector.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in audit software (CaseWare, Pro-Audit, CCH, Inflow) and MS Office.
