Job summary

JVR Software in South Africa's Western Cape seeks an experienced auditor to lead and review external engagements, ensuring quality and timely completion. You will interact with SME decision-makers and manage engagement planning, budgets, risk assessments, working papers and final reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a CA(SA) and IRBA RA registration, with strong SME audit experience and the ability to oversee multiple engagements and supervise staff while engaging directly with clients.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification and IRBA RA registration.
• Strong external audit experience in SME practice.
• Ability to lead multiple engagements and supervise staff.
• Knowledge of ISAs and IFRS for SMEs and SA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review external audit engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency and timely completion.
• Manage client communication, audit planning, budgets, risk assessments, working papers and final reporting.
• Review annual financial statements and resolve accounting, audit and compliance matters.
