Job summary

Helderberg Personnel is seeking a CA(SA) with IRBA RA eligibility to lead varied external audit engagements for SME clients in the Western Cape. You will manage planning, budgets, risk assessments, working papers, and final reports, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Strong external audit experience in SME practice

• CA(SA) qualification and soon to be or current IRBA registration as a Registered Auditor (RA)
• Strong recent external audit experience, ideally gained in a small or medium-sized audit practice.
• The confidence to run multiple engagements, supervise staff and engage directly with clients.
• Sound knowledge of ISAs, IFRS for SMEs and relevant South African reporting and regulatory requirements.
• A practical, organised and approachable style, strong judgement and pride in high-quality work.
