We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Solar PV) to join a dynamic engineering team and support the delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle — from development and design through construction, commissioning, and operations — with a focus on utility-scale solar PV projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring technical excellence, supporting construction and operations, driving stakeholder engagement, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering activities across the project lifecycle, including design, technical analysis, and site support.
Develop solar PV system designs, PVSyst energy yield models, and risk assessments.
Support construction teams with technical input and resolution of queries.
Manage external consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
Provide input into budgets, technical due diligence, and procurement processes.
Contribute to innovation, process improvement, and standardisation of engineering procedures.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in utility-scale solar PV engineering (5+ years preferred).
Professional registration highly advantageous.
Experience with wind, BESS, or HV infrastructure beneficial.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and MS Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
