Job summary

The Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa in Sandton seeks a Senior Associate: Development Debt to oversee post-disbursement debt exposures and portfolio performance, ensuring covenant compliance and value preservation for sustainable development outcomes.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or accounting degree with postgraduate study.
• Eight to ten years of post-investment monitoring and portfolio-management experience.
• Financial analysis, credit and stakeholder-management skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance, impairments and credit risks and engage business partners on corrective actions.
• Assess drawdowns, covenants, restructuring proposals, cash collection and exit options.
• Prepare committee submissions and work with investee management and boards on value-creation initiatives.
