Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in Gauteng is seeking a technically skilled Asset Management Engineer to set up, support and train staff on asset management processes and systems. You will work within the Asset Strategy, Asset Management unit at Megawatt Park to improve engineering workflows.

You will lead the development and maintenance of asset management processes and provide this expertise to clients, ensuring adherence to standards, safety and regulatory guidelines while contributing to technology

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification (NQF7)
• Experience with asset management tools and systems
• Ability to provide technical leadership and training

Responsibilities

• Develop asset management processes, tools and systems
• Maintain the NTCSA asset management system
• Provide support on asset management processes and tools
• Provide training on asset management processes and tools
• Ensure adherence to processes, standards and procedures
• Provide technical consulting and investigation services for customers
• Produce and integrate engineering solutions for asset creation
• Develop discipline-specific philosophies, standards and specifications
• Manage evaluations of products, equipment and changes
• Contribute to technology vision and direction
• Research new technologies in discipline
• Participate in national/international technical forums
• Provide professional technical leadership for technologists
