Job description

Overview

As the Senior Art Director, you will drive the creative output of the team with a strong creative vision and an understanding of business objectives for our client and agency team. You will execute and oversee high-quality digitally integrated creative communications and precision marketing campaigns.

With your knowledge, you will bring digital expertise and business understanding to promote our company and our valued client, NIVEA.

You are someone who can inspire others and elevate our digital creative efforts as we continue to grow.

You will actively participate in the execution and review of work produced by the Last Mile creatives, focusing on the production of ongoing and precision marketing digital assets and beyond.

Responsibilities
  1. Work with Last Mile and Implementation Hub Leads to prioritize work and resources across engagements, establishing production schedules collaboratively.
  2. Conduct brainstorming sessions, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative, actionable creative initiatives responsibly.
  3. Review and approve art developed by the team, ensuring deliverables meet marketing goals and challenges.
  4. Present or oversee the presentation of final concepts and obtain approvals for deliverables.
  5. Collaborate with account teams and project managers to understand client brands and support brand delivery.
  6. Build the agency's reputation externally and internally.
  7. Maintain the wellbeing of the team’s culture, people, and clients.
Leadership
  • Lead by example and provide clear, focused feedback to your creative teams for improvement.
  • Support cross-functional team members to resolve issues and deliver excellent products from ideation to execution.
  • Promote a solutions-oriented culture within the agency.
  • Manage and grow your direct reports effectively.
Qualifications
  • Strong creative vision aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience with digital design or production.
  • Passionate, detail-oriented, and capable of creating integrated content across digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print channels.
  • Skills in digital layout, typography, composition, and production.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), MS PowerPoint or Keynote, MS Outlook, Chase, Storyteq, Drive +.
