The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead the technical execution of architectural projects.

This role involves translating conceptual design into high-quality technical documentation, collaborating with design architects and consultants to uphold dhk's high standards. You will oversee the production of detailed construction drawings, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure the design intent is maintained throughout all project phases.

Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in delivering innovative, compliant, and buildable architecture.

What You'll Do

• Interpret design intent and translate into precise construction documentation.
• Produce accurate, detailed architectural and technical drawings using Revit.
• Ensure documentation complies with building regulations, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities throughout the project.
• Evaluate materials and construction methods to optimize design solutions.
• Support project planning, costing, and documentation delivery.

Requirements

• National Diploma or BTech in Architectural Technology.
• Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in technical documentation and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, regulations, and construction methods.
• Experience working with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Revit, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Additional skills in façade design, sustainability certifications, or 3D modelling are advantageous.
