Senior Application Solutions Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Provide NetSuite support and subject matter expertise to users.
• Assist with report writing and analytics efforts for company financial and operational information.
• Assist with data and/or related systems integration projects specific to NetSuite.
• Perform hands-on coding work on projects as needed.
• Document business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation.
• Act as a system expert on production and sandbox NetSuite environments and related systems.
• Develop and maintain workflows and processes in NetSuite to optimize the platform.
• Evaluate current state, research, and implement effective solution designs to achieve defined business or process objectives.
• Provide support to global colleagues via the IT ticketing system.
• Complete additional responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience with the day-to-day technical management of the NetSuite platform is required.
• Hands-on SuiteScript experience to provide back-end customization.
• Understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting.
• Strong understanding and experience in a project-based services organization.
• Ability to do independent technical work.
• Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system.
• Proficiency with saved searches, formulas, reporting, creating dashboards, creating custom forms, and creating workflows.
• Understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality and processes.
• Experience developing and maintaining reports in Microsoft Power BI (or other BI solution).
• The ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team with other IT professionals to provide effective support to the organization.
• Ability to work U.S. hours.
• Biopharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
