Job Title : Application Security Lead

Key Responsibilities :

Lead application security initiatives aligned with the security strategy

Implement security controls across the SDLC

Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing

Perform code reviews and track security vulnerability remediation

Train and mentor junior team members

Monitor and respond to emerging security threats

Collaborate with development & operations teams to integrate security best practices

Ensure container & cloud security measures are implemented

Required Education & Certifications :

Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

CISSP | CSSLP | GWAPT | OSCP | CKS | Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience Required :

7+ years in IT / security

5+ years in application security

2+ years in technical leadership

3+ years working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

3+ years with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Technical Skills & Knowledge :

Security testing (SAST, DAST, IAST)

Threat modeling & vulnerability management

Cloud security (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Container security (image scanning, runtime monitoring, Kubernetes security)

DevSecOps (integrating security into CI / CD pipelines)

Security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, ISO )

Additional Requirements :

Implementation of strong security programs

Reduction in security vulnerabilities & incidents

Strong container & cloud security measures
