Job summary

Sasol Limited is seeking a Senior Specialist Analytics & Enablement to develop, maintain and enhance finance data products across Azure Synapse and Databricks. The role translates finance requirements into governed data models, analytical dashboards and reporting solutions to enable data-driven decision making across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power BI and Power Platform.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3-4 year university degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• A postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand data needs for finance, reporting, planning and operations.
• Design, build and maintain finance data models and analytical workflows in Azure Synapse and Databricks.
• Ingest, transform, validate and reconcile data from finance/operational source systems.
• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards for insights and decision making.
• Apply data science methods to identify trends, risks, forecasts and opportunities.
