Job summary

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) invites applications for a Senior Analyst Developer based in Pretoria. The role focuses on analysing, designing, developing, testing and implementing PeopleSoft and interfacing applications, following ICT governance artefacts and best practices.

The successful candidate will mentor development staff, oversee PeopleSoft development work, and advise on system improvements within the ICT Services portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science/engineering, information technology or CSIR industry application.
• 8–10 years development experience in PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM, or both.
• Proven track record in advanced PeopleSoft development and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design complex software components and modules using standard software design practices.
• Code, verify, test, document, and refactor complex programs and integration services.
• Drive development of organisational systems integration and continuous integration capabilities.
