Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Project Engineer specializing in ammonia refrigeration to lead industrial projects from concept through commissioning. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery across manufacturing, cold storage and FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial project engineering experience.
• Proven ammonia refrigeration project delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and safety regs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from concept to commissioning and handover.
• Lead ammonia refrigeration installation, upgrades and maintenance projects.
• Review designs for compliance with specifications and standards.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, safety, and progress.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Manage schedules, budgets, procurement, invoicing and documentation.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams throughout execution.
• Identify risks and resolve technical challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and efficiency.
• Represent technical aspects in client meetings and reviews.
