Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Aircraft Quality Inspector to join their technical team in Kimberley. You will perform detailed inspections, verify documentation, and ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance across maintenance and repair work.

The role requires a Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (e.g., SA CAA Part 66) or equivalent with at least 6 years in aircraft maintenance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Certified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (e.g., SA CAA Part 66) or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years in aircraft maintenance and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of aviation quality systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical manuals and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in Kimberley-based facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, components, and completed maintenance work.
• Verify that all maintenance activities comply with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Identify non-conforming work or materials and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in audits.
