Qualifications

• Recognized trade qualification in Aircraft Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years hands-on experience as an Aircraft Mechanic, engine maintenance.
• Experience with turbofan and turboprop engines.
• Strong understanding of engine theory, systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft engines and related systems.
• Diagnose engine malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement repair solutions.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble engine components per manuals and specs.
• Interpret engine manuals, service bulletins, and repair schemes for compliance.
• Conduct engine ground runs and performance checks after maintenance.
• Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance activities and parts used.
