Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. You will ensure airworthiness and safety across a diverse fleet, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs with rigorous attention to detail.

You will hold a valid AME license (CAAZ/EASA/FAA) with ratings and bring 5+ years of hands-on experience on commercial or corporate aircraft. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous training in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license with ratings.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to read manuals, schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
• Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
• Ensure maintenance complies with regulations and manufacturer specs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in logbooks and systems.
• Collaborate with flight crews to ensure aircraft availability.
• Conduct routine checks and preventative maintenance.
