Job Purpose

Involvement in all aspects of ambient air quality impact assessments, including coordination of air quality monitoring, compilation of emission inventories, atmospheric dispersion modelling, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc Honours in Natural Sciences, Earth Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 3 years in the air quality field
• Consulting experience
• Experience with report writing and data analysis
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan fieldwork and meet all health & safety obligations, incorporating SLR and client requirements.
• Process and format ambient monitoring data, inclusive of meteorological, dust fallout, particulate matter, and gas monitoring data.
• Compile ambient air quality monitoring reports.
• Compile emission inventories and run dispersion models (software examples: TANKS, LandGEM, AERMOD).
• Compile Air Quality Impact Assessments and Air Quality Management Plans.
• Project management, including financial, health & safety, logistics, and team management.
