Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a remote-first team focused on developing and deploying advanced AI solutions. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI products.

The role requires 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, advanced degree or equivalent experience, and fluency with Python and DL frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. Strong cloud and MLOps skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or software development with a focus on AI.
• Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with large-scale data processing and MLOps practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable AI and machine learning systems.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for areas such as NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Build robust data pipelines and infrastructure for training and deploying ML models.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and data scientists to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Implement best practices for MLOps, including CI/CD, model monitoring, and version control.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
