AI Developer

My client is seeking to grow their team with AI Developers who have experience in either language processing or computer vision.

Competency in languages like Python, C, or C++, and cloud-based platforms is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop innovative solutions in AI and stay updated on new technologies in the evolving AI space;
• Design, develop, and implement AI systems architecture and solutions;
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, information technology, or a related field with at least five years' experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and software development in AI technologies;
• An Honours or Master's degree is advantageous;
• Experience in applied machine learning with regression, classification, models for supervised learning;
• Natural language processing and understanding in large language models;
• Building multimodal models;
• Handling unstructured data;
• Big-data unsupervised learning;
• Data platform engineering;
• Experience in deploying theoretical ML approaches from academic research into large-scale production systems;
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure;
• Proficiency in building AI models with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or Theano;
• Ability to select hardware to meet model latency requirements;
• Exposure to project management;
• Knowledge of modern object-oriented programming languages and open-source tools;
• Strong quantitative skills in mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
