Qualifications

• Knowledge of SA agricultural landscapes and common crops.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth soil analyses and plant health assessments with actionable reports.
• Develop crop management plans tailored to regions and crops to optimize yield and resource use.
• Evaluate new agricultural technologies including precision farming tools and irrigation systems.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related agricultural discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy, with a strong focus on crop production and soil management.
• Proven experience in remote work environments, demonstrating strong self-discipline, time management, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of South African agricultural landscapes, common crop varieties, and associated challenges.
• Proficiency in using agricultural software, data analysis tools, and precision agriculture technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
