Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Afrikaans and a teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., BA with PGCE).
• Minimum of 6 years' experience teaching Afrikaans Home Language at the secondary level.
• Excellent command of the Afrikaans language, both written and spoken.
• In-depth knowledge of Afrikaans literature and literary analysis techniques.
• Strong pedagogical and classroom management skills.
